Call of Duty: game client and compatibility

Steam, Battle.net or Xbox: why the exact platform and product requirements matter.

CHEATS/STORE EDITORIAL1 min read

Confirm the platform

Start by identifying the client you use to launch Call of Duty. Dullwave lists Steam, Battle.net and Xbox in its product requirements. This is supplier information, not a promise that every entry in the series is supported. Ask support before buying if your specific game or mode is not named.

Check the Windows build

Open your system information and compare it with the developer list. A general Windows 10 or Windows 11 label does not replace checking the exact build. The product guide links to the supplier page and documentation.

Prepare for the first launch

Dullwave documentation for Call of Duty notes that the first launch may automatically restart the computer. Save open documents beforehand. Follow the complete sequence in the guide linked from the product page.
